Went to the restaurant to make a reservation for the next day, but greeted with a look at us cause granted that the restaurant has a dress code but we just got back from the beach and in our shorts and thongs. At least he bothered to greet us and check what times are available. But just as he mentioned that they're available at 5.30pm and 8.15pm, another female staff came over and checked us out and said they're too busy and won't take any more reservations. We both felt that's really appalling being judged by what we wear although we're not dining in at that time, and she didn't even offer to check another day for us.

My friend and I had a great time there. We had Peking duck and Scallops dumplings, so yummy. Friendly and good service. Will definitely go back soon.

Our mushy peas were frozen. Once I had defrosted them it was a cup of pale grey soup which tasted almost entirely of vinegar. Completely inedible. Shame as the fish and chips were fresh and lovely.

Superb, friendly and helpful staff, ice cold drinks, great light menu, cooked and served to a brilliant standard. The local pair of emu's that wander through is such a pleasant, relaxing enjoyable sight.

A great store for almost all your basic food needs all at a reasonable price.Fresh bread and bakery products baked daily too.Dairy, Meat and Veg all fresh.

Real old world charm. It's great to see places like this still exist. Very handy to my accommodation - literally around the corner.I took the chance to try the Friday $20 parmi and pint and got two pleasant surprises. The pint was any tap pint, so I enjoyed my JS 150 Lashes. (I was expecting a more common, local drop that I'm not a fan of.)Also, the parmi comes with the standard chips + salad OR spaghetti! I highly recommend the latter.

Free pool with a pint. Pricey for a standard pub but there you go.

Friendly staff, unique decor, live music, and not your average run-of-the-mill menu. Ours was the mid afternoon lunch slot which was bustling both inside (restaurant/bar) and outside (beer garden/seating). If you're after something different, a tapas-like experience where you order a few dishes and share then this is the place for you.

I’m not sure but this that sanitiser or KY lubricant as you walk in?Egg, milk and 500gms of mince for $24.30!

Excellent service and food, the staffs were so friendly and explained to my partner (first visit) the food and the history of the restaurant. Sorry forget the waitress name. She is lovely. She do her job very well.The shark bay scallop dumplings was delicious(10/10), the Peking duck so tender and juicy with fresh condiments, sauces and soft wraps all goes so well (10/10). The beef cheek so tender and succulent just melts in your mouth with the spicy sauce omg that is to die for (10/10). Total cost $77. Value for money and you won’t be disappointed.
